Daredevil Community - because we missed 5 days of instruction during the winter storm last week, we have valuable instructional time that must be made up. Part of the instructional time will be made up on Presidents Day, Monday, February 16. PreK - 12 will be in session for a regular school day. We will still have early dismissal Thursday, February. 12 with P/T Conferences that evening from 2:30 - 7:30. No school on Friday, Feb. 13! #bettertogether #buildingfuures

It is National School Counselor Week and we are happy to recognize two of the best school counselors in the state. We are blessed to have them serving WSD. Both are committed to our students and staff and go above and beyond everyday to love and support us. Thank you, Mrs. McClaren and Mrs. Wright! 💚

WSD will be open Monday, Feb. 2 for PreK - 12 and we are excited to welcome our students back to campus! We will be running modified bus routes and information will be sent out to parents in separate reminds Sunday afternoon. Parents dropping students off Monday morning, please be cautious! Shout out to our wonderful crew working to get the snow and ice removed from our WSD campus! Shawn, Christian, David and Chris spent the day trying to get the parking lots and sidewalks ready to return to school. Daredevil Community - As you all know, most of the roads in the county still remain snow and ice covered today. So, WSD will be closed tomorrow, Thursday, Jan 29. *FREE ONLINE BOOKS for SNOW DAY READING* A reminder to students that the Sora reading app is available to our K-12 students! Our students and teachers have access to Sora's variety of ebooks and audio books.
Directions: Log into your chromebook, open your email, and click on your Google apps (waffle), top right corner between settings and the word Google. Scroll to the bottom. Click on the Sora app. It is blue and looks like a spaceman flying. Click on Wonderview, then click your email address. Enjoy!
